You don't need any extra ingredients to help the sesame seeds stick to the cheese, simply dunk slices of Mozzalloumi into the sesame seeds and they'll coat the cheese ready to be fried.

Ingredients
-
1 packet Mozzalloumi
-
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
-
Neutral flavoured oil for frying
-
1 bag mixed salad leaves
-
½ avocado, sliced
-
½ red pepper, sliced
Salad dressing
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
-
large pinch of salt and pepper
Directions
Find a shallow frying pan for cooking the Mozzalloumi and add about ½ cm of oil to the pan. You want enough oil so that the slices can shallow fry and make the sesame seeds cripsy. Pre-heat the pan on a medium to high heat to allow the oil to come to temperature.
Pour the sesame seeds onto a plate or wide bowl. I used a mixture of black and white but you can just use one or the other. Cut the Mozzalloumi into slices and dunk each slice into the sesame seeds, moving it around so that it’s coated on all sides. The cheese is a little sticky when uncooked so they should easily stick. Repeat with all the slices of cheese and out to one side.
Once the oil is hot add the sesame coated Mozzalloumi slices and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until the seeds are golden brown. Very carefully flip over the slices and cook on the other side.
While the slices cook prepare your salad by mixing together the mixed leaves, and sliced red pepper and avocado. Make the dressing by whisking together all of the dressing ingredients. Pour over the salad leaves and mix until everything is well coated.
To serve: add a portion of salad to each plate and top with the hot Mozzalloumi slices. Serve immediately while the cheese is hot and gooey in the middle!
